Dan Kirk

Dan is an executive coach with over a decade of experience working with executives, teams, and boards across a range of industries. Dan has a PhD in Organizational Psychology from NYU and has applied his understanding of human behavior for multiple advisory firms including Mercer, Oliver Wyman, and Heidrick & Struggles. His clients have ranged from small local non-profits to F100 global businesses.

Dan’s approach is shaped by two simple observations: leaders have an outsized impact on their organizations, and leaders are not born but made. He fosters client growth through genuine conversations and experiences that lead to improved – and lasting – personal and organizational performance. They appreciate his ability to quickly build trust and safe-but-challenging partnerships, his results orientation, and his sense of humor.

Dan works with a wide array of clients but has also developed a niche in helping “non-traditional” professionals and founders become exceptional organizational leaders. As he has gone from the academic to the corporate world, he helps scientists, lawyers, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs and the like understand how to apply their skills in new areas, and how to get results through the larger systems they find themselves in (rather than despite them).
