Priorities and Investment
What we prioritize requires investment (time, energy, money). Want to prioritize something? Intentionally invest.
And yet, here’s the reality: We are quick to buy a new pair of shoes but not pay for a gym membership. We are willing to spend $1,000 on Amazon but not invest in a nutritionist. We are often good at spending money on goods but hesitate to invest in things that can actually improve our well-being.
Heck, even think about donating. Perhaps you don’t hesitate to spend $100 on a meal but will hesitate to donate $100 to charity. Often our priorities are not aligned with our spending. That’s okay; we are all human. But it’s important to think about what our priorities are and how our investing and/or spending aligns with them.
