Friction
How can we create an easy environment for things that have a positive impact? Especially when things are hard, we need to find ways to make them easier (i.e., have exercise clothes laid out the night before). Our habits are greatly impacted by our environment. Think about what actions would benefit from less friction.
On the flip side of the coin, how can we create a difficult environment for things that have a negative impact? We need friction (i.e., not having junk food in the house) to ensure we stay away from bad decisions.
We are drawn to the path of least resistance. Shortcuts. Figure out where you need to increase friction and where you need to reduce friction. From there, our decision-making will be more aligned with our desires.
